One thing to know about the “woke” ideology — it is heavy on spin, and light on facts.  After all, as the continuing saga of what once manifested as “post-modernism” which flatly denied the premise of objective “truth”, it shouldn’t surprise us that it’s grandbaby, “wokeness”, is carrying on that
