Two people in Canada reportedly died of listeria infections after consuming plant-based milk alternatives.

“The implicated products, Silk brand and Great Value brand plant-based milk, have been recalled,” Food Safety News reports.

The Canadian Health Department issued a public health notice about the risks of consuming the “plant-based refrigerated beverages.”
