A federal grand jury has indicted New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell on multiple charges, including conspiracy, wire fraud, conspiracy to obstruct justice, false statements, obstruction of justice and false declaration before a grand jury.
Cantrell is the first sitting mayor in New Orleans history to face federal charges.
