The Missouri House voted on Tuesday to advance new congressional maps that could potentially give the GOP one additional U.S. House seat before the 2026 midterm elections.
The proposed maps intend to make Missouri’s congressional delegation seven Republicans and one Democrat.
Missouri currently has six Republicans and two Democrats.
