Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey went into lockdown on Tuesday after reports of gunshots during a training exercise.

Emergency personnel responded to reports of an active shooter around 11 a.m.

Officials announced the lockdown was lifted just before 12 p.m.

“ALL CLEAR. ALL CLEAR. ALL CLEAR,” a Facebook post
