California Gov. Gavin Newsom just joined the ranks of phony Democrats who have conjured up fake backstories in order to try to seem more relatable.

In an appearance on the NBA podcast ‘All the Smoke,’ Newsom showed an entirely different side of himself — one that grew up poor and
